Unlock Your Potential with Tri-City Psychotherapy

Dual History Group

Our dual history group is intended for individuals who identify as male, have been sexually abused in childhood and who have gone on to cause sexual harm to another child. Trauma recovery and treatment for offending behaviour are pursued concurrently in this group, focusing on accountability and support to avoid offending. Many coping strategies will be explored, including mindful based emotional regulation techniques.  Participants will share their story of abuse and their offending behaviour  history with other members of the group and will be expected to supportively listen to other group member's histories.

Healthy Sexuality Counselling

Individual therapy for those who offend sexually is a crucial step towards rehabilitation and preventing future harm.  By addressing underlying issues and learning healthy coping mechanisms, individuals can work towards understanding and changing their harmful behaviours.  Therapy provides a safe and confidential space for offenders to explore their thoughts and feelings, ultimately leading to a more positive and fulfilling life.  Take the first step towards healing and seek out individual therapy today. ~ Regular fees apply to this therapy.

Limits of Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us and it is important to note that confidentiality in therapy has its limits, especially when it comes to sexually motivated interests.  Therapists are mandated reporters, meaning that they are required by law to report any current or potential harm to children, including instances of abuse or neglect. This is to ensure the safety of the individual in therapy and the community.  It is important for you to be aware of these limits and to understand that therapy is a collaborative process that prioritizes safety and well-being.
