What is a 'risk assessment?
A sex offender risk assessment will help to determine what risks are present for someone to sexually offend. These assessments typically involve a comprehensive evaluation of various factors related to an individual's history, behaviour and circumstances to determine their level of risk.
The results of such assessments help professionals make informed decisions about supervision, treatment, and management of sexual offenders in order to reduce the risk of reoffending and to protect the community.
The static 99-R is most used by correctional services and forensic in order to determining risk to offend, or risk to re-offend sexually against minors.
The Acute 2007 is a risk assessment that looks at rapidly changing risk factors for sexual recidivism in adult males.
The Stable 2007 is a risk assessment tool that assists in providing a structured and evidence-based approach to assessing risk and making decisions about supervision and treatment.
Please call to discuss your unique situation, what you are hoping to assess and why. We will assist you to decide which risk assessment may be right for individuals' concerned with their sexual behaviour, or to present to a court when determining sentencing.
